A local news station here in Anchorage did an awesome news story on postpartum depression. It is an hour long special that helps differentiate between the levels of postpartum depression that exist through real life stories. - Dark Side of the Full Moon–Two moms made a postpartum depression documentary that does an amazing job of showing the gap in medical/psychiatric care for moms struggling with PPD. If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch it for free! This is a good resource for those who are supporting a mom who is struggling. While it doesn’t present much solutions, it does a good job of showing how much of an illness postpartum depression really is and the need for better care for moms!
